"My husband and two children aged 11 and 8 recently returned from an absolutely fantastic holiday with SheherazadVentures. We were really impressed in how intimate and professional the tour was. Everything went smoothly but was also flexible enough, to allow us to spend more or less time on what we really wanted to do. We loved the Sahara Desert, the High Atlas Mountains, the zest of Marrakesh city, and our cooking class. Our children loved the sand boarding, decorating pottery with henna, the music and jokes around the campfire and the unique opportunity to actually find fossils.

“I travelled with my daughter (aged 11) to Morocco in 2008 with Rachel and the SheherazadVentures team (before they set up the company).  It was the first time I had taken my daughter on ‘an adventure’ and this has inspired her to want to travel more, I felt the arrangements for our holiday were great and truly reflected the culture. All too often you have a great holiday but you do not experience the culture of where you visit, this was not the case.  The highlight of the holiday was a camel trek into and staying in the desert - the silence and the stars were amazing and still my favourite photograph is of my daughter in her turban on a sand dune.  Thank you’’
