Desert Expeditions

The Sahara is the world's largest desert and it stretches right across the belly of Africa. It's a place of mystery and magic, of ancient nomadic traditions and warring tribes.  The north-western fringes of the Sahara touch Southern Morocco at the end of the Drâa and Ziz Valleys. The stony plains, dried river beds, shady oases and billowing dunes can be reached on foot, by camel and by 4x4 in the regions of Merzouga and M'Hamid el Ghizlane. No trip to Morocco is complete without spending a wondrous night gazing heavenward at the Milky Way, sleeping in a nomad camp and getting to know this alluring yet sometimes treacherous landscape.

All our desert trips and expeditions are hosted and guided by local indigenous Saharoui people.

We can arrange tailor-made solo and group guided expeditions on foot, camel and/or 4x4.
