Booking Information

All the trips offered by SheherazadVentures s.a.r.l. are land-only Morocco-based trips.

  • We cannot organise international flights or services outside of Morocco. 
  • You must organise your own flights and you can also book your own hotels if you choose.  
  • You must organise your own Travel Insurance and accept our Disclaimer below. 
  • We will meet you at your hotel, at the airport on arrival, or you just meet us at the start point for each trip - whichever you prefer. The start/end point for each trip is indicated on the Trip Details.

    Booking Process:
     

    Individual trips - i.e. where you are the only private client/s

  • When you find a trip that interests you, you contact us using the Enquiry form or by telephone to discuss the details of your party. At this point you can discuss any changes required to the itinerary.
  • When we have agreed an itinerary and dates, the price (per person sharing) will be confirmed via e-mail, with an invoice along with a summary of the trip.
  • You then book your own flights and advise us of you arrival/departure point, time, flight no. and date.
  • If you are already in Morocco we go straight to the next phase.
  • At this point, we will require a booking desposit of 50% of total. This must be paid no later than 60 days before trip start date.
  • If your trip is being planned later than 60 days notice, then the deposit must be paid immediately.
  • Deposits are payable by wire transfer to our bank, or via Western Union and must include the name of the Client, plus the Trip Ref.  Payments made by bank transfer can take up to 10 days to arrive and until monies are received your booking is not confirmed.
  • Balance of money due for trips must normally be paid no later than 30 days before arrival.
  • Please contact us if you envisage a problem with this timeframe or are booking last-minute.

    Group trips -  i.e. where you are joining as part of a date-specific group tour with Minimum Numbers required

  • Contact us using the enquiry form and tell us how many in your party wanting to join the trip and rooming requirements (e.g. single, twin double)
  • Send us your holding deposit via SWIFT transfer (25% of per person price) quoting Trip Ref and name of Lead Client. (One payment only permitted even if more than one person booking).
  • You MUST NOT book your flights until we can confirm that the minimum group numbers have been achieved. This we will endeavour to do no later than 60 days in advance of start date.
  • If minimum numbers are not achieved, we will contact you and refund the holding deposit. We will also advise you of a revised price if you decide you would like to proceed with the trip anyway. You may also choose another trip.
  • If sufficient bookings are achieved, we will let you know that trip is confirmed and that you can go ahead and book your flights. At this point another 25% is payable (total 50% deposit is required 60 days in advance for all trips).
  • Remaining 50% balance is payable no later than 30 days in advance.
  • Please contact us if you envisage a problem with this timeframe or are booking last-minute.
  • Once a group trip departure has been confirmed by us, then Cancellation Procedure and Penalties is as outlined below.

    Cancellation:

    Changes or Cancellations made by You:

    If you wish to cancel or change your booking, the notice must be made in writing via e-mail and we will do our best to make suitable adjustments. If we cannot accommodate your changes (e.g. dates not available) then cancellation charges will apply as below.

    You may add extra people to your booking, but check with us first as it depends upon space available in the vehicles which will have been priced as part of your original enquiry. 

    If you decide to cancel your trip completely, you must notify us in writing and the following refund system will apply:

  • Cancellation of holiday prior to 60 days of start = full refund of monies paid (less €25 admin charges)
  • Cancellation between 30-60 days of start =  50% of monies paid refundable (less €25 admin charge)
  • Cancellation between 1-30 days of start = no refund 
     
  • Changes or Cancellations made by Us

    Occasionally changes may be made to your tour which we reserve the right to do so at any time.  This may be due to seasonal conditions which may involve a diversion of route or the cancellation of some stages.  In most cases these will be minor.  We can not be held legally responsible if we are forced to cancel, or in any way change your tour due to reasons beyond our personal control, including injury or delay due to sickness, machinery breakdown, war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions.

     

    Travel Insurance:

    Adequate and valid travel insurance is a MUST. We stipulate that all clients are required to purchase adequate comprehensive travel insurance to cover accidents, injuries, and illness and death medical expenses, including any related to pre-existing medical conditions, emergency repatriation (helicopter or air ambulance where it is available). We also recommend covering cancellations, curtailment and luggage losses and personal effects such as cameras, passports and valuables. When in Morocco you should carry a document/ proof of your insurance to join our trips. Your safety is our priority.  You will need to have details of your Policy with you at all times, together with an Emergency Contact telephone for next-of-kin in case of any serious accident or situation. 

    Remember that some of the acitivites you are undertaking might be outisde of normal holiday cover - e.g. camel-trekking, quad-biking, recreational activities.

    We do our best to make your stay a safe one and alert you to any dangers, but SheherazadVentures s.a.r.l., it's staff, or it's agents are not liable for any personal accidents, injuries claims or loss of property whether experienced through services and activities organised by us, or delivered by one of our transport, accommodation or activity suppliers.  


    Disclaimer:

    By booking a trip with us you acknowledge that SheherazadVentures s.a.r.l. cannot accept liability for personal injury, accident or loss of property under any circumstances whatsoever.
    Liability laws in Morocco follow the French model, where you are expected to insure yourself for any accidents.

    We never disclose personal information like names, passport numbers, birth dates, addresses, telephone numbers, emails or website addresses, or any other information used to identify individuals to any third parties for any reason. We solely use this information for our own records in case of emergency matters while you are travelling with us in Morocco.
